abandon budgeting

Tracking expenses triggers the pain center of your brain.

Nobel Prize-winning research shows we feel losses 2.25x more strongly than gains. When you pay a bill, or pay the mechanic to fix your car, your brain registers this is as a loss. When you log that expense, you feel that loss all over again. This correlates to 73% of people abandoning traditional budgeting apps after a single week.

flip the script

Track savings, not expenses.

Aspirational savings tracking significantly predicts both saving behavior and financial well-being. Guilt-based expense tracking has zero measurable effect on saving. Winnie replaces the anxiety of spending with the satisfaction of saving.

Frequently asked questions

What is Winnie?

Winnie is a personal savings tracker and planner for iOS. Set your financial goals, and Winnie will show you exactly how and when you'll achieve them.

I already have a budgeting app. Why would I need Winnie?

Winnie is savings tracker and planner, not a budgeting app. Winnie follows the core tenant of personal finance: "Pay yourself first". Budgeting apps track where your money went. Winnie shows you where it's going, with a clear plan and projected date for every goal.

How does Winnie know when I'll reach my savings goal?

When you set a goal, Winnie helps you build a plan based on how much can contribute each month. As you log progress, it updates your projected completion date in real time — so you always know exactly where you stand.

What's included in the free version?

The free version includes up to 2 savings goals with full goal tracking, savings plans, insights, and projection features.

What does Winnie+ include?

Winnie+ unlocks unlimited goals, plan comparison, partner sync, charts, custom goal colors (20+), and an exclusive Winnie+ app icon.

How does partner sync work?

Share a simple invite code with your savings partner. Once connected, both of you see the same goals, projections, and plan — in real time.

Does Winnie connect to my bank account?

No. Winnie never asks for your bank credentials or connects to any financial institution.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, there is no commitment to using Winnie+ and you can cancel at any time. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone to manage or cancel. You'll continue to have access through the end of your billing period.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and all associated data from within the App's settings. Go to the profile tab, tap "Account Info", then "Permanently Delete Account." Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
